SEMM announces the first awardees of the Residency/PhD Program, an innovative initiative promoted by Fondazione AIRC ETS and Fondazione Cariplo, and supported by SEMM and the University of Milan (UNIMI) within the PhD in Systems Medicine.

The inaugural awardees — Chiara Angelini, Vincenzo Guastafierro, Sabrina Testa, and Francesco Zorutti — have been selected through a competitive process open exclusively to medical residents. The program is designed to integrate clinical training with advanced research in cancer biology, supporting the development of physician scientists able to translate scientific discoveries into personalized and precision medicine.

This first cohort marks an important milestone in the launch of the Residency/PhD Program and represents a significant achievement for the selected residents.
